TONIGHT I AM VERY VERY VERY UPSET.
It started when I went hinking. The most wonderful day, I saw a big male bouquetin (French word, it's a big mountain goat and the males have enormous curved horns) up so close, I could have sat there for hours. 2 or 3 meters, he really wasn't scared (and didn't need to be, he probably weighed 100 kgs...). Anyway, that's the nice bit. Then, I saw this photographer taking a picture of something. Being curious, I cautiously crept up behind him to see what it was. A Lagopede (another French word, sorry ^^" Some sort of mountain feasant... Turns white in winter) was sitting there. The thing is, we were up high, near the snow limit, and for this bird it was almost winter. They don't hibernate, they just stay put after fattening up, but their sleep is superficial and they are easily aroused, after which they run away. And this guy intentionnaly scared the bird into running off for an action shot ! I was so angry, I could have screamed the mountain down if I hadn't wanted to protect it from being scared further. I still explained very firmly to the man that F*CK THESE BIRDS HAVE A 50 % CHANCE OF DYING FROM RUNNING AWAY ! They get so scared they might die of a heart attack, and when they don't they use up a lot of their winter stores and usually freeze off before the end of winter. There are so few left, it's really sad...
Anyway, I calmed down, nothing I could do about it I guess, but tonight I come across this video on the internet (Don't worry about the Danish, just watch the video it's in English) :
[link]That is REVOLTING ! How can they ? How is it possible that the ads OR the video are even ALLOWED ? That is pure homophobia, totally undisguised... I mean what are they getting the kids to think ? I'm too angry to put down all the words I would like. I showed it to my mum, she said : "Just another example of how f*cked-up America is". Well, sorry to all Americans (sorry Ju <3) but in moments like this I'm inclined to agree with that statement.
Edit : The adds aimed for women also show what F*CKING MISOGYNS THEY ARE. Real women don't drive trucks ? Women who are builders are lesbians ? It's not written as such but it's pretty explicit.

Maintenant moi et ma soeur on va galérer pour s'y rendre! En plus, La Cigale était mieux comme salle (mais occupé le 18) avec ses balcons. L'EM ça va être la misère! Le seul avantage, c'est que c'est dans le même boulevard.
